Ultra Casual

I'm holing myself away in my office today plus there isn't ANYONE around. So, it's probably okay that my outfit is no where near office appropriate. I made a few mistakes when cropping today's picture, that's why it is so small. But I look just like Vanessa Hudgens (whoever she is) in today's Frugal-Fashionista.

Casual Thursday

A stripey pink shirt and khakis. No boss today and everything is pretty chill. Really just wanted to wear jeans, so this is the compromise.

Here comes santa claus

I brought in my coworker's Christmas gifts today, so I'm feeling a bit festive. I've been wanting to wear this ruffle collar shirt since I bought it at the salvation army in October, but hadn't found the right combination/inspiration. It's a bit of a tomato-y red, but the other neutrals tone it down, I think. I'm not always a fan of the '80s style ruffle collar, but I saw it on Oprah one day and she just looked so sharp. And the one's in J.Crew are very appealing.

Target clearance jacket, pants from a Herberger's suit I bought for the 7th CD convention in 2006, Target tank and salvation army necklace (from Target with the tags still on).

Blue and Black

I've got a striped skirt and pattern tights on but, I think it's ok since my colors are so 'blah' today. I wore my sorel boots in to work so I could wear my cute peep toes instead of high heel boots.

Purple and purple

This is a little more formal than I like to be on Friday's but, I'm making the trek up to Wadena tonight to judge a dance team competition and we're not allowed to wear jeans.

So, I modified one of my favorite outfits and used a purple collar shirt with another shade of purple sweater and obligatory black pants.

Really, I'd rather be wearing a brown tweed skirt so I could wear Jess's cream coat and my tall brown boots, but it is cold and that is impractical for traveling and running around an unfamiliar gym.

P.S. I cannot find any of my black belts! Where in the hell did I leave them?! Ack.

DMV photo

I'm getting my license renewed today so I wanted to wear something that will look good in the picture. Can't really go wrong with a white collar shirt and a pretty sweater. I just hope the blue backdrop isn't too similar to my turquoise cardigan.

P.S. Due to our birthdays being so close together, Anthony and I are renewing our licenses in conjunction with a lunch date!

Pretty simple

This morning, I wished I had a turquoise skinny belt and gray pants for this outfit instead of black and tan, but it's pretty cute anyway. Target, Target and Forever 21.

Hot Pink Means Business

Or something like that. Pink cashmere sweater, white tank and clearance Victoria's Secret pants from last year.

Sand + salt + wet + marble floors + high heeled boots = I slip all the time. Arg.

busting out a suit today for big environmental law presentation tonight.
got rid of necklace and added favorite antique star pin instead.
really want to wear the teal shoes but will go for black and be professional.

Today

I put on the second thing that was hanging in the closet, cause I needed to actually be on time to work today. I did get complements at a coworker's b-day coffee and donuts break. Yea!

Yesterday

I was in Mpls all day for some staff development training, so I met up with Jessica for dinner. Here we are at the Library in our super cute outfits for the day.

Not inspired

I did plan to wear a cute little purple and and gray plaid jacket with this but forgot to put it on before I left the house. Um, yea. Somewhat forgetful today.

Snow boots?

No, just regular boots with a skirt (my new favorite tweed one from the consignment shop) so that I won't have any wet pant legs. And a cozy warm turtleneck sweater (H&M last year) for the office. (Not necessary, ahem, just nice)
